Happy St. Patty's Day to you!  Spring is delightfully on its way.  Don't forget to get your potatoes in by the 17th. So nice to have more and more sunshine with each passing day!

SPECIAL ENGAGEMENTS:

Lost Highway, Saturday- March 3rd, 8:30 to 12:30 PM

Fabulous country western sound complete with squeeze box, fiddle, pedal steel, dobro and Stand up Bass.  You can't miss with this talented group.  Thayne Bradford, fiddle, squeeze box, guitar,and vocals, Bob Briedenbach on pedal steel , dobro and vocals, Scotty Hughes,on drums and vocals, and Vince Corkery, on Bass.

St. Patrick's Day Celebration- Saturday, March 17th 3:00 PM

Lots of the clans are to be joining up at the Grove.  Stovall's will be wearing the green, serving up corned beef and cabbage and a dancing to Irish jigs and ballads all day on Saturday, March 17th starting at 3:00. Admission of $10.00 includes food, Irish Music, and night show with the Missouri Valley Boys.  Join the fun where everyone is lucky enough to be Irish for the day.  And country fiddles return to their roots.

The Missouri Valley Boys (Traditional country western, hillbilly and some Top 40) 

Missouri Valley Boys have made Stovall's Grove the "Home of country music since 1935" featuring Traditional Country Western and Hillbilly music. Musical talents of the Missouri Valley Boys showcase  Alan Cully, on vocals and bass, Terry Milleron vocals and guitar, Donny Sloan on drums,  Fred Williams, lead guitar and vocals, Billy Bryant on fiddle and Pat Heller on pedal steel guitar . Step back into genuine country music history with classic songs made famous by Ray Price, George Jones, Ernest Tubbs, Lefty Frizell, Merle Haggard, and Hank Williams. Ain't country music without the pedal steel guitar and fiddle player. Occasional yodeling. Two step, country western line dancing, cloggin', and good old fashion slow dancing.  Ya'll come.

The Grovers - (Variety, some Top 40, and Traditional Country Music)

A fiddle in the house with a bounce.  Gary Hunt leads the Grovers, on vocals, lead guitar, and  fiddle, with Ron Meecey on pedal steel guitar, Bobbie Reego, on vocals and drums, and Wally McCanless on vocals and Bass. The Grovers' present a house full of excitement for country western line-dancing, two stepping and listening pleasure. A Stovall's Favorite for years.


The Other Guys (Variety, some Top 40 and Traditional Country Music-)

Considered the best country music dance band in St. Louis.  Talented band leader, Richard Listerud heads up top 40 and traditional country music show of dancing, fun and pure entertainment. The Other Guys rock the house with a great show that gets the joint jumping, rocking, country western line dancing and two stepping.  Richard Listerud on Vocals & Guitar, Donny Sloan on Drums, Tim Brown on Bass & Vocals, and Ron Meecey, on pedal steel .

Mark Moebeck - First Wednesday of Month (Acoustic classic  Rock. Folk, Novelty and Original music)

Singer/songwriter/entertainer Mark Moebeck plays classic rock, classic folk, country western, novelty songs, pop songs and original compositions from past 30 to 40 years, in a delightful one man show.  Amazing guitar performance, witty banter, extensive repertoire, and a golden voice amuse and delight in a lounge format. Some shows feature talented guest artists from other venues catching Mark's show. Celebrate midweek and stop in for a great laid back evening.


The Roadhouse Band - Second and Third Wednesday of the month - 7:30- 11:30 PM-

Okay Buckeroos, join Greg Hart, Vocals, guitar and harmonica, and Steve "Hap" Hollander, Vocals and guitar for a special show of Americana Roadhouse style (Country, Folk, Rock, Bluegrass, Rockabilly, and Western Swing.)


Country Jams : Open Country Jam - Last Wednesday of every month, - 7:30 to 10:30 (Open jam session - Traditional and top Country western and Bluegrass-)

A tradition at Stovall's Grove for over seventy years.  Local artists host our open Country Jam session. Jam features traditional, top country and western, and bluegrass music. Join new and familiar vocalists, fiddlers, bassists, dobro players, flutists, and guitarists from around the area pickin' and grinning at the Grove. All welcome to sing, play or listen.  Bring your love of American country music for an ever changing venue of talent. Starting at 7:30.

DANCE LESSONS:

Dance Lessons-  Thursdays - Starting at 7:00 P.M.

Learn the latest country western dances.  From classic country western line dances -the boot scoot boogie, Diamond reggae, Black Velvet, Trouble, Tush Push, Electric Slide, Slap Leather, Cruisin, to country western couples dances- Stationery Cha Cha, San Antonio Stroll, Ridin' Double, L.A Two Step, Cotton Mouth,  you can learn them all.  Beginner to Advanced with or without partners. Time to get movin, slapping, and scootin. $3.00 per person.
