Our New Year’s Eve Party will be December 31st!   Music will start at 8:00 P.M. No more reservations are available, but a few seats at the bar remain.   Tickets are $15.00 and include Missouri Valley Boys Show, midnight Champagne toast, party favor and hats.  Easy to herald in the new year with your boots on and in your own backyard.  Guests are welcome to bring in their own snacks.  Woo hoo 2015!


Have your next party at Stovall's Grove.  Entertaining has never been so easy. Whether its Aunt Beulah, the college kids, your sister in from Memphis, everyone will be smiling and enjoying their visit.   Whether 10 or 100, let us do the worry for your Holiday parties, office, neighbor, caroling, impromptu reunions or just a great nite out with friends. 


Private parties can be arranged on days and evenings: Sunday, thru Wednesday, and Saturday afternoons. Party Packages available.

Missouri Valley Boys have made Stovall’s Grove the “Home of country music since 1935” featuring Traditional Country Western and Hillbilly music.  Musical talents of the Missouri Valley Boys showcase  Allen Cully, on vocals and bass, Terry Miller on vocals and guitar, Donny Sloan on drums,  Fred Williams, lead guitar and vocals, Mark Vaccaro on fiddle and Dave Alley on pedal steel guitar . Step back into genuine country music history with classic songs made famous by Ray Price, George Jones, Ernest Tubbs, Lefty Frizell, Merle Haggard, and Hank Williams.   Ya’ll come.


Colonel Ford and the Rough Riders – Show –Friday, January 2nd- 8:30-12:30 AM

(Hillbilly, Honky Tonk, and Traditional Country)

Honky Tonk music at its finest .Gary Hunt leads the band in that county western high lonesome sound. Gary Hunt, guitar, fiddle, and vocals, Dade Farrar, Standup bass, and vocals, Jay Farrar, pedal steel ,  Johnny Horton, guitar, and Dan Kathriner, drums and vocals.  Mighty fine music and a great big howdy of country. Country music just doesn’t get any better than this. 


Nite Time Friends Band - Shows –Saturday, January 3rd, and Friday, January 23rd- 8:30 PM to 12:30 AM

(Variety, some Top 40, and Traditional Country Music)

Tim Brown gathers his friends for a bouncing evening of fun country music.  Make plans to play and play hard with Tim Brown on bass and vocals, Mike Snodgrass on guitar and vocals, Jerry Moon on drums and vocals, and Ron Meecey on steel guitar. You’re gonna have to step out on the dance floor now.


Diesel Island–Show– Friday, January 9th- 8:30 PM to 12:30 AM

(Classic Traditional country, Rockabilly, 70’s outlaw country, and Variety)

Voted best traditional country band by Riverfront Times this year. Groove to your favorite country classics, with 70’s outlaw, and even some rockabilly, with Brian Henneman, on lead guitar, Kip Loui, on rhythm guitar, Richard Tralles on Standup Bass, Carl Pandolfi on piano, and Spencer Marquart on percussion. It’s a hoot!


The Rock Creek Country Boys Show – Saturday, January 10th and 24th-  8:30 PM to 12:30 AM

(Hillbilly, Honky Tonk, and Traditional Country)

Get ready for a country rodeo on the fretboards with Gary Hunt, on fiddle, guitar, and vocals,  Bobby Regot on drums,  Pat Heller, on pedal steel, and Wally McCanless on bass and vocals. Mighty fine indeed.


Hillbilly Authority - Show -Friday,January 16th- 8:30 PM to 12:30 AM

(Traditional Country, New, Southern Rock, Variety, some Top 40)

With a repertoire consisting of everything from traditional to new country and from southern rock to original music, Hillbilly Authority delivers a high-energy stage show that appeals to music fans of all varieties. Greg Manis, vocals and  guitar,  Mike Hatfield, vocals and keyboards, Scottie Kemp, lead guitar, and vocals, Dan O’Neil, on drums, and Rick Steiling on Bass. A special treat for all


The Roadhouse Kings, with Thayne Bradford - Friday, January 30th, - 8:30 PM to 12:30 AM (Traditional and Classic Country, Variety, some Top Forty)

Some Mighty fine entertainment that’s sure to get your honey and boots a moving. Thayne Bradford, on fiddle , squeezebox, and vocals, John Higgins, on steel guitar and vocals, Randy Shore on Bass and vocals, Don Drewit on drums. Thayne is mighty fine musician who goes way back with the Grove. Outrageously great entertainment!



Open Mike Wednesdays- Wednesdays, January 7th, 14th ,21st and 28th- 7:00 to ? PM

(Open Mike –Various country genres, Traditional country, Hillbilly, Top Forty, Southern Rock, Americana)

It’s Back- ya’ll come! Razzle, Dazzle with your talent at the time honored tradition of open mike at Stovalls.  Various musicians gather to share their musical guitar, bass, fiddle, accordion and vocals with much impromptu harmonies, voicings, and great fun.  Play, sing, or just enjoy watching the shows. All welcome.  Any style related to country.  Must be twenty one. 




Dance Lessons - Thursdays , January 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th  - Starting at 7:00 P.M.Very robust and bustling evening at the Grove. Crazy good fun that gets everyone moving with a new level of fun, stylish moves, and great dances. Learn the latest country western dances, meet nice people, and get fit. From classic country western line dances -the boot scoot boogie, Diamond reggae, Black Velvet, Trouble, Tush Push, Electric Slide, Slap Leather, Cruisin, to country western couples dances- Stationery Cha Cha, San Antonio Stroll, Ridin’ Double, L.A Two Step, Cotton Mouth,  you can learn them all.  Beginner to Advanced with or without partners. Time to get  slapping, and scootin. $3.00 per person. Advanced dancers should inquire about the competition teams.
