April 2014

Howdy Folks,

Stovalls is stomping the Music Hall with outrageously fantastic Country Western Music shows this month.   Diesel Island, Whiskey Morning, Hillbilly Authority, Fred and the Rangers, Colonel Ford and the Roughriders are scheduled and of course, the Missouri Valley Boys. ****Special engagements are the Jake McVey Concert, the number one video recording artist on Country Music Television for song entitled “Carry On”, on Thursday, April 24th, and Cajun band, Thayne Bradford and the Boudreauxs on Sunday, April 27th for the Sunday Music Series Shrimp Boil! .  Your boots will be blown off!

Happy Birthday to our twin legendary founders, Delbert and Delmer Stovall, who would be celebrating their 90th on April first.  Thanks boys for the legacy, you are alive in the joint everytime someone discovers our place, taps a toe, or swings their honey on the dance floor. Sometimes you can feel them shaking their heads and nodding lovingly to Dennis.

Get ready to pack up your fly rods for our Fourth Annual Trout Fishing Extravaganza down in Rockbridge, Missouri at the Rockbridge Trout Ranch, on Monday, June 9th through Thursday, June 12th.  We are inviting anyone to come down with us as we stock up on our hundred pounds of trout for our Smoked Trout Fest with Hot Damn Band third weekend of June.   Relax at the prettiest little trout stream just one hour south of Rolla.  Fantastic fishing with huge trout, but like shooting fish in a barrel. Make your reservations early at Rockbridge Trout Ranch, 1-417-679-3619 – Life in Missouri is good, but now it’s better. Of course, we will have some mighty fine country and western music to boot. Watch for dates and details.

Happy Easter and thank God for the beautiful warmer weather.  Spring into the best Country Western Music Hall in the Midwest. You will be on your feet dancing, singing and enjoying the sights and sounds of an authentic 1950’s honky tonk with extraordinary talent.

Ya’ll come and see us when you can.
