Nothing like the crunchy leaves under your boot, warming by the fire, and dancing up a storm at the grove. Don’t forget High Noon will be playing Wednesday, Nov. 24th, the night before Thanksgiving. Get out of the house, and enjoy a fun kick off to the holiday weekend. Stovalls is also the best for entertaining your out-of-town guests for an evening of unique Missouri Country fun. Steve Hollander is hosting Stovalls Open Mike on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM and gathering a good crowd of honky tonkers looking to pick and jam. Come on down, all skill levels welcome. Join us and be a part of Stovalls' rich cultural tradition of country and western music.
Dance Lessons are held on Thursdays nights at 7:00. Feel free to bring your snacks, we have chips and pizza available. Grab your friends, learn a new step and try it out.

Mighty fine music and a great big howdy of country. Country music just doesn’t get any better than this.

Voted best traditional country band by Riverfront Times this year. Groove to your favorite country classics, with 70’s outlaw, and even some rockabilly, with Brian Henneman, on lead guitar, Kip Loui, on rhythm guitar, Richard Tralles on Standup Bass, Carl Pandolfi on piano, and Spencer Marquart on percussion. Singer, songwriter, Mark Moebeck, on guitar and vocals, and Mike Newman aka Naked Mike, on guitar and vocals, dazzle with dynamic vocals, harmonies, and wonderful guitar, and Dan Randant aka Lucky Dan, guitar and vocals. These guys are the best of the best. You are in for a treat with dynamic vocals, harmonies, and wonderful guitar. Think James Taylor, Croce, Lightfoot, Simon, you name it these guys can perform just about as good as the artists- sometimes better. Come and decide for yourself. Having played most venues throughout St. Louis, these professionals should bring down the house. Gonna be a great show.

Ya’ll come! Razzle, Dazzle with your talent at the time honored tradition of open mike at Stovalls. Steve Hollander hosts talented players from around the area, and keeps ‘em in line. Various musicians gather to share their musical guitar, bass, fiddle, accordion and vocals with much impromptu harmonies, voicings, and great fun. Play, sing, or just enjoy watching the shows. All welcome. Any style related to country. Must be twenty one.
Dance Lessons – Thursdays - Starting at 7:00 P.M. As seen in St. Louis Magazine Very robust and bustling evening at the Grove Crazy good fun that gets everyone moving with a new level of fun, stylish moves, and great dances. Learn the latest country western dances, meet nice people, and get fit. From classic country western line dances -the boot scoot boogie, Diamond reggae, Black Velvet, Trouble, Tush Push, Electric Slide, Slap Leather, Cruisin, to country western couples dances- Stationery Cha Cha, San Antonio Stroll, Ridin’ Double, L.A Two Step, Cotton Mouth, you can learn them all. Beginner to Advanced with or without partners. Time to get slapping, and scootin. $3.00 per person.
