Wishing you a very Merry Christmas, filled with blessings and love. We will be closed on December 24th and 25th for Christmas Eve and Day. May the New Year bring you health, prosperity, and peace. We are open on New Years' Eve, for our annual Party with the Missouri Valley Boys. Music will start at 8:00 P.M. Tickets are $15.00 and include Missouri Valley Boys Show, midnight Champagne toast, party favor and hats. Easy to herald in the new year with your boots on in your own backyard. Also, we are open on New Years Day, opening earlier with a show from 5:00 to 9:00 PM . Two nice events to start your new year with friends down here at the Grove.
Make the holidays easy and enjoyable by hosting your holiday gatherings at Stovall’s Grove. If you are planning a get together with the neighbors, office, family or friends for a holiday, birthday, or impromptu family get together with the out of towners- Liven things up by having it at Stovall’s. Pick up some party platters for your guests and leave the rest to us. Well now, that’s just about as fine as a party can be. We take care of the cleaning and you get ready for dancing, yakking and fun. Private parties Weekdays and nights Sunday thru Thursday, and Weekend days. Tell us your budget and we will make the arrangements.
Steve Hollander is hosting Stovalls Open Mike on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM and gathering a good crowd of honky tonkers looking to pick and jam. Come on down, all skill levels welcome. Join us and be a part of Stovalls' rich cultural tradition of country and western music.
Dance Lessons are held on Thursdays nights at 7:00. Feel free to bring your snacks, we have chips and pizza available. Grab your friends, learn a new step and try it out.

New Years Eve Party Special Event –Show - Friday, December 31st -8:00 to 12:30 PM Celebrate the New Year at Stovalls with all the merriment and festive tunes of the Missouri Valley Boys to make for an evening to remember. Champagne, party favors, and hats. Stay close to home, kicking your heels up at the grove. Reservations recommended. Table reservation holders may bring in own snacks. Door $15.00

Colonel Ford and the Rough Riders – Shows –Saturdays: December 4th and January 8th - 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM (Hillbilly, Honky Tonk, and Traditional Country)
Honky Tonk music at its finest! Gary Hunt leads the band in that county western high lonesome sound. Gary Hunt, guitar, fiddle, and vocals, Dade Farrar, Standup bass, and vocals, Jay Farrar, pedal steel, Johnny Horton, guitar, and Dan Kathriner, drums and vocals. Mighty fine music and a great big howdy of country. Country music just doesn’t get any better than this.
Diesel Island– Show – Saturday, December 18th - 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM
(Classic Traditional country, Rockabilly, 70’s outlaw country, and Variety)
Voted best traditional country band by Riverfront Times this year. Groove to your favorite country classics, with 70’s outlaw, and even some rockabilly, with Brian Henneman, on lead guitar, Kip Loui, on rhythm guitar, Richard Tralles on Standup Bass, Carl Pandolfi on piano, and Spencer Marquart on percussion. It’s a hoot!

Gene Carroll, Bass guitar and vocals, Tony Chambers, guitar and vocals, Bob Gleason, drum and vocals, Todd Luerding, keyboard, accordion and vocals, and Mark Moebeck, guitar and vocals. An irresistible talent bonanza, with a motherlode of crowd pleasing righteous songs, that get you on your feet, moving and grooving the night away.
Stone Wheel Band – Shows –Friday, December 17th - 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM (Classic and Current Country Rock, Country, and Variety)
Formed as high school band in the sixties, these American veterans bring country down home with their smooth rhythms, righteous guitar, and marvelous vocal harmonies. Bill Sloan, lead vocal and guitar, Joe Landon, on Bass, Terry Cooper on vocal and guitar, Joe on vocals and guitar, and Joe’s Son, on Vocals and Drums. Kick up your heels and jump on your toes, gonna be a hoedown tonight.

Ya’ll come! Razzle, Dazzle with your talent at the time honored tradition of open mike at Stovalls. Steve Hollander hosts talented players from around the area, and keeps ‘em in line. Various musicians gather to share their musical guitar, bass, fiddle, accordion and vocals with much impromptu harmonies, voicings, and great fun. Play, sing, or just enjoy watching the shows. All welcome. Any style related to country. Must be twenty one.
Dance Lessons – Thursdays - Starting at 7:00 P.M. As seen in St. Louis Magazine Very robust and bustling evening at the Grove Crazy good fun that gets everyone moving with a new level of fun, stylish moves, and great dances. Learn the latest country western dances, meet nice people, and get fit. From classic country western line dances -the boot scoot boogie, Diamond reggae, Black Velvet, Trouble, Tush Push, Electric Slide, Slap Leather, Cruisin, to country western couples dances- Stationery Cha Cha, San Antonio Stroll, Ridin’ Double, L.A Two Step, Cotton Mouth, you can learn them all. Beginner to Advanced with or without partners. Time to get slapping, and scootin. $3.00 per person.
