At last the Holiday Season is upon us with Thanksgiving building up to Christmas and New years. Stovall is the place for enjoying your holidays with friends, family and excellent Country Music. We wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving, a blessed Merry Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.
 
Nothing like the crunchy leaves under your boot, warming by the fire, and dancing up a storm at the grove.  Don’t forget Boulderdash will be playing Wednesday, Nov. 26th, the night before Thanksgiving to kick off the holiday season.  Get out of the house, and enjoy a fun start to the holiday weekend. Stovalls is also the best for entertaining your out-of-town guests for an evening of unique Missouri Country fun.  Send the college students, Aunt Beulah, and the cousins down to the Grove, to listen to the best country music shows in the Midwest, experience the conviviality of Stovalls, and maybe take a turn dancing on the floor.
 
We are open on New Years' Eve, for our annual Party with the Hill Williams Band. Music will start at 8:00 P.M. Tickets are $15.00 and include Hill Williams Show, midnight Champagne toast, party favor and hats.  Easy to herald in the new year with your boots on in your own backyard.
 
Stovall is a great venue for your next gathering of friends, family, and neighbors. We take care of the cleaning and you get ready for relaxing fun, dancing, yakking with guests, kinfolk, classmates, special reunions or last minute nights out. Stovalls will make any event memorable.Reservations for Friday and Saturday Shows are held until 8:30 P.M.  Private parties available Weekdays and nights Sunday thru Tuesday. Tell us your budget and we will make the arrangements.
 
Stovalls provides the best Country Western Music shows in the Midwest. You will be on your feet dancing, singing and enjoying the sights and sounds of an authentic 1950’s honky tonk with extraordinary talent.

Costume Contest – Friday, October 31ST with Rick Wagner Show
Lets have a boo-tiful nite of fun and disguises. Share your imaginative creations to a lively evening of country and western music.
 
Night before Thanksgiving Show- Wednesday, November 26th- 7:30 to 11:30 PM
A tradition of revelry and music before the Thanksgiving holiday allowing folks to start the long weekend off right. Bring your in town guests, boots and family for a country evening of fun.  Boulderdash will kick off the weekend.
 
New Years Eve Party Special Event –Show - Wednesday, December 31st -8:00 to 12:30 PM Celebrate the New Year at Stovalls with all the merriment and festive tunes of the Hill Williams Band to make for an evening to remember.  Champagne, party favors, and hats.  Stay close to home, kicking your heels up at the grove.  Reservations recommended. Table reservation holders may bring in own snacks. Door $15.00

Make Sunday even more special with tasty old fashioned barbecue meats with all the special sides, musical entertainment, dancing and sunshine. The November Barbecue, our last of the season, will feature smoked ham and turkey with all the trimmings. Come relax and enjoy our historic country music hamlet in the rolling hills of Wildwood, Missouri.  Doors open at 2:00 PM. $20.00 cash cover includes music and barbecue plate.

The Missouri Valley Boys - Shows – Friday: December 5th - Saturdays: October 25th and November 29th -  7:30 PM to 11:30 PM   (Traditional country western, hillbilly and some Top 40)
Stovall’s Grove the “Home of country music since 1935” featuring Traditional Country Western and Hillbilly music.  Musical talents of the Missouri Valley Boys showcase Mike Ritchey on vocals and lead guitar, Wally McCanless, on vocals and  Bass, Ron Meecey, on pedal steel, and Bobby Regot on drums. Consummate, talented professionals for many years, these players will rock the joint with their renditions of great country standards and more. Step back into genuine country music history with classic songs made famous by Ray Price, George Jones, Ernest Tubbs, Lefty Frizell, Merle Haggard, and Hank Williams.   Ya’ll come.

Colonel Ford and the Rough Riders – Show – Friday – November 28th - Saturdays: October 3rd, November 15th and December 6th - 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM
 (Hillbilly, Honky Tonk, and Traditional Country)
Honky Tonk music at its finest! Gary Hunt leads the band in that county western high lonesome sound. Gary Hunt, guitar, fiddle, and vocals, Dade Farrar, Standup bass, and vocals, Jay Farrar, pedal steel, Johnny Horton, guitar, and Dan Kathriner, drums and vocals.  Mighty fine music and a great big howdy of country. Country music just doesn’t get any better than this. 
 
Crowley’s Ridge Band – Shows - Fridays: October 17th and November 21st - 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM; (Traditional, Classic Country and Variety)
Enjoy a bouncing evening of all of country music favorites with smooth rhythms, righteous guitar, and marvelous vocal harmonies. Aaron Howard on lead guitar and vocals;  Leon Prewitt on lead guitar and other stringed instruments; Mike Howard on rhythm guitar and vocals; Rhonda Jennings on drums and vocals; and Tom Calvin on bass guitar and vocals.  Get your boots a steppin’ and toes a tappin – gonna be a party.
 
Diesel Island– Show – Saturdays:  October 11th, November 8th and December 13th - 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM   
(Classic Traditional country, Rockabilly, 70’s outlaw country, and Variety)
Voted best traditional country band by Riverfront Times this year. Groove to your favorite country classics, with 70’s outlaw, and even some rockabilly, with Brian Henneman, on lead guitar, Kip Loui, on rhythm guitar, Richard Tralles on Standup Bass, Carl Pandolfi on piano, and Spencer Marquart on percussion. It’s a hoot!
 
Grovall’s Stove – Shows–  Friday- December 26th - 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM   
**PREMIERE SHOW** (Classic Traditional country western, Rockabilly, 70’s outlaw country, and Variety)
Fabulous ensemble of talent from around Missouri to play your favorite country and western tunes. Mike T Horn, on Guitar and vocals, Wayne and Wanda on Guitar and Vocals, Bo Choulpec, on Fiddle; and Dave Alley on Steel Guitar. Guaranteed to light up your night with too much dancing and great music.
 
The Hill Williams Band – Shows- Friday November 14th – Saturdays: October 4th, and 18th, November 1st and December 27th –  7:30 PM to 11:30 PM   
New Years Eve Special Event- Wednesday, December 31st – 8:00 PM to 12:30 AM   
(Classic Country, Hillbilly, Rock and Roll, Western Swing)
Wonderful lively show with flying riffs, masterful vocals and impressive fiddling featuring Neal Schenk on Bass and Vocals; Bo Chaloupek on Fiddle; Jeff Bensman on guitar and vocal and Jared Bensman on Drums. Band has it all playing your favourites from high lonesome, to rock and roll, to Classic country, to hillbilly to swing.  Dancers and listeners alike get feisty with great music here.
 
Pick’n and Grin’n Band –Shows - Friday, October 10th and November 7th and Saturday- December 20th - 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM   (Country, Classic Rock, Variety) Dennis Schreder, on Bass and vocals, entertains with his takes on your favorite tunes, with Lonnie Nottmeier on guitar and vocals, Mike Thomason on  guitar and vocals, Patty Cook on  vocals and Kendall Hoffman on  Drums. Dance along the pumping beat and cadence of this band.
 
Rich Wagner Show – Show- Friday – October 31st – Halloween Costume Contest Special Event     7:30 PM to 11:30 PM   
**PREMIERE SHOW** ( Country Western, Traditional, Variety and Top Forty)
Young driving new sound with all the bounce, and fire to dance around the floor.  Rick Wagner, Guitar and vocal heads up the band with Tim Sullivan, on Bass and vocals, Dave Anderson on Pedal Steel, and Kyle Ray on drums.  You are Welcome
 
Serapis with Mark Moebeck -  Shows – Fridays: October 24th and December 19th and Saturday - November 22nd -  7:30 PM to 11:30 PM;
Sunday Music Series – Sunday- November 16th- 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Classic American band known for mixing in the “other” songs from hitmakers upping the ante of entertainment with masterful licks, driving vocals and spirited arrangements.  Gene Carroll, Bass guitar and vocals, Tony Chambers, guitar and vocals, Bob Gleason, drum and vocals, Todd Luerding, keyboard, accordion and vocals, and Mark Moebeck, guitar and vocals.  An irresistible talent bonanza, with a motherlode of crowd pleasing righteous songs, that get you on your feet, moving and grooving the night away.

From classic country western line dances -the boot scoot boogie, Diamond reggae, Black Velvet, Trouble, Tush Push, Electric Slide, Slap Leather, Cruisin, to country western couples dances- Stationery Cha Cha, San Antonio Stroll, Ridin’ Double, L.A Two Step, Cotton Mouth, you can learn them all.  Beginner to Advanced with or without partners.
